Neodymium Magnet Safety Guidelines
This information has been composed specifically for high powered neodymium magnets but many of the points are applicable to neodymium assemblies and other magnetic materials. Please read it carefully before making your purchase.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: Neodymium magnets can cause harm or even death if inhaled or swallowed. They are not suitable for children. Please store them safely out of reach of children and pets.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: Neodymium is a brittle material. If you allow neodymium magnets to crash together or into metal objects the force might shatter them. The broken pieces might be sharp. We recommend using leather gloves to handle them.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: Large neodymium magnets are very powerful. Using neodymium magnets can introduce a trap hazard. Pinching of the skin can cause injury. We recommend using leather gloves to handle them.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTE: Neodymium magnets produce strong magnetic field that can interfere with some electrical devices. These devices may include medical equipment such as pacemakers. Keep neodymium magnets away from electronic devices.
CUSTOMER NOTICE: Neodymium magnets are triple coated to slow down corrosion. Neodymium magnets will still corrode over time in a wet environment. Damaging the coating will limit the lifespan of the magnet.
CUSTOMER NOTICE: Neodymium magnets are not magnetically stable when exposed to high temperatures. Heat will weaken the magnetic field. Above a certain temperature the effect is irreversible.
By purchasing our neodymium magnets, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these safety notes and customer notices. Failure to follow these safety and usage guidelines may result in personal injury or property damage. We assume no responsibility for any harm or injury caused by the improper use of our products.
